Suggest Treatment For Sarcoidosis In The Lymph Nodes

Hi, my husband was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in his lymph nodes about 15 years ago. Since then, he just doesn t feel good. Very sluggish, always tired. He is 58, comes home from work and goes to sleep. He sleeps all weekend, he doesn t feel like doing anything, his quality of life suffers. He isn t being treated for the sarcoidosis and I feel like he should be. I don t know what kind of doctor to take him to for such a treatment. I m not sure that anything can be done for sarcoidosis. Any thoughts?

Hello,

There are tests for the level of activity of sarcoid alkaline phosphatase. There are scales to imply someone is depressed and would benefit from treatment for depression. Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, this would be depression.

Hope I have answered your query.
