Understanding your concern. As per your query your grandson the has scabies .The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like allergic reaction ,side effect , sensitivity to sunlight ,eczema and psoriasis , Well scabies is a skin infestation caused by a tiny microscopic bug known as the human itch mite . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Rash and burrows are the main signs that doctors use to determine if you have a scabies infestation. Doctor may take skin sample for lab test , sample is examined under a microscope to confirm the presence of mites or eggs . Doctor may prescribe 5 percent permethian cream , 25 percent benzyl benzoate lotion and percent sulfur ointment . For now apply cold compresses and take benadryl .
