I believe my husband and I have contacted scabies, I have done some intensive researchWe have beern to tth dr x2 done ivermectin and premethrin cream scoured the house wash bedding dailynd we still havethem how to get rid of completely once and for all?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have abdominal bloating in a heart patient. Well scabies is an itchy skin condition caused by a tiny burrowing mite called Sarcoptes scabiei. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may prescribe lindane lotion and crotamiton along with ivermectin and premethrin cream , which you are already using .Doctors may prescribe other topical medications, such as sulfur compounded in petrolatum, for people who don't respond to these medications. Beside this treatment soaking in cool water or applying a cool, wet washcloth to irritated areas of your skin may minimize itching, apply calamine lotion and take benadyl for now .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
