Suggest Treatment For Scaly, Dry Skin Around The Eyelids
Thanks .My problem is scaly , dry skin around the eyelids, sometimes itchy.Sometimes it gets better for few months and then out of the blue it gets the same condition even though I make sure I don t use different creams or cosmetics on my face just the ones I am used to.Seen my doctor ,cream s given to me to apply does not help when the condition is worse.I do use mascara and eyeliner that too the ones I have been using .The skin around the eye lid also looks redish and the texture of skin is not smooth but when it is better it gets smooth. This condition started near,ly two years ago,it got better for months and now it has started again.
Hi Welcome to healthcare magic It seems to be eye lid dermatitis First of all you need to apply some good quality moisturizing lotion frequently like 3 to 5 times a day. Moisturizing lotion you will apply should not contain any fragrance as perfumes in the lotion can result in contact dermatitis. When condition get wrose than you need to apply mild steroid like fluticasone cream once a day Pay attention that there no cure for eye lid dermatitis and it will go off on its own after some time. No one knows that how much time it will take to resole. So take no stress and apply moisturizing lotion as frequently as you can. You can simply use coconut oil as moisturizing lotion. Thankyou
