Suggest Treatment For Scarred Skin On Leg

Hi, about 3 weeks ago a got friction burns from a dog lead all the way around both of my lower legs and theyre still quite bright and obvious even though the wounds have healed and feel like normal skin now, are they scars? I there any way I can get my legs back to looking normal? I m terrified they ll be there forever, please help :,( -Ellie

Hi.
As per your case history of scar, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a hexilak gel twice daily on it.
3. Take a vitamin E supplement once daily for 3 months.
