Suggest Treatment For Scraping And Bruising On Leg

I was hiking and I feel in the woods and my leg landed on a sharp rock scraping and brusing my leg it s now two weeks later and I have swelling in my whole leg and a large hot bump under one of healing cuts. My family doctor says I should go to emergency should I?

Yes, should go to the ER as soon as possible. Your symptoms are indicating severe infection.

Perhaps something got stuck inside and got infected. You need immediate surgeon help. So go to the ER as soon as possible. Do not delay.
