Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This depends on the exact cause of epilepsy, which depends on many factors like her antenatal and neonatal events, EEG findings and MRI brain report apart from few blood tests.

Rather than changing in between, it is better to stick to a particular pediatric neurologist of your choice. This will help in serial work up and proper direction and titration of treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
