Suggest Treatment For Seroma After Oopherectomy Surgery

I found out I have a 5.6cm seroma from a October 15th oopherectomy surgery. A month after it forme to about 2.5 cm and doubled a month later. I am thinking surgical removal us my best treatment to resolve. Would you concur versus trying to drain it? Also would the liquid be infected? And if it burst would it spread infection?

For seroma best treatment is wait and see, size is not reduced then best thing to do is aspiration of seroma than excision, seroma fluid change in colour and smell may be due to infection, infection is present then bursting may cause spread of infection, normal seroma bursting will not cause spread of infection
