Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Cramps While On Levothyroxine

My husband recently had thyroid and parathryoid surgery. He has severe stomach cramps and can t take a normal bowel movement. He is taking Levothyroxine and large quantities of calcium. He is also taking pain medication, oxycodone. What can we do to eliminate his cramps?

The symptoms seem to be related to excess calcium intake.

I suggest you to use Buscopan to relieve the abdominal cramps.

I also suggest you consult your doctor about calcium intake and it's side effects.
