Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain And Acid Reflux

I am on allopurinol 300mg, amlodipine 10mg, clopidoorel 75mg,hydtochloro 12.5 ,levothyroxin1.250mcg,doxazosin 2mg,d3-1000IU,zantac150, Breo, andLosartan. I am seeing a Doctor in Augusta, Ga. for burning mouth sydrom ( burning tongue) who has put me on Nystatin and Deramethoson. I was in Florida last year and they ran a ton of test for my stomach cramp and found nothing. Which makes me feel it the meds. that are giving the terrible pain one or twice a day. I wonder if the meds and acid refulx is the cause of my burning tongue and mouth. Sorry for the spelling errors. Ed

Hi,

You are actually taking a lot of tablets which have the potential to irritate you stomach. You are taking Zantac 150 mg for that. But in this case, it is better to take a strong acid suppressant like Omeprazole / Lansoprazole.

Dosage will be Omeprazole 20 mg two times before food for a period of two weeks then take it for once daily before food for a period of 1 month. Continue the course after consulting your regular doctor. Also, you can take Maalox plus 15 ml two to three times per day. if you are taking Maalox plus, try to space your tablets 1 -2 hours after.
