Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea And Headache
I am a type two diabetic and take invokanamet twice daily. I have just finished 3 rounds of antibiotics for uti...then got sick with stomach pains , headache, throwing up then diareaha...I can not get into see my doctor. Should I go to medquick , er or just tough it out
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe abdominal pain, diarrhea and headache which seems to be due to viral infection of body leading to acute gastroenteritis and electrolyte imbalance in body.
Need not to worry. Take banana on daily basis and light food. Avoid taking any sharp and spicy food. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. You should take antiemetic like domperidone and ranitidine for gastritis. You should go for blood tests as well and start treatment after proper examination. You should start treatment with combination of fluoroquinolones and ornidazole.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
