Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain

I have severe, at times, abdominal pain that feels like someone is twisting my insides out with pain that radiates to the right side of my spine, like someone is stabbing me with a knife. I went to the ER and they did a CT scan of my abdomen which was negative and lab work was unremarkable. I had my gall bladder out 10 years ago. I am wondering what else it could be? They did say that I have diverticulois but that wouldn't be causing the pain.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.After CT scan, it almost narrows the causes.
2.It clearly demonstrate organs and the pathologies. Liver/Pancreas/Spleen/Kidneys/Spine. After all these ruled out even if diverticulosis is not found - one will think of some pathology in the bowel.
3.In the bowel we can see IBD - ischemic bowel disease, Diverticulits/diverticulosis, obstruction, and inflammation of the bowel.
4.Any of the above bowel pathologies would give the above symptoms.
5.So improve your diet and evaluate bowel pathology with barium swallow.
6.Hope it helps you.
