Suggest Treatment For Severe Acid Reflux And Coughs

Hi, I suffer from severe acid reflux and am on 30mg. Dexilant daily. I cough a lot and wonder if acid reflux can contribute to inflammation of the bronchial tubes and thereby cause some asthma symptoms. My allergist hinted at this, but was called away for an emergency before I could ask for details.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Acid reflux can be managed efficiently. You can take the combination of proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole and motility enhancers like domperidone or itopride in sustained release formation. Take light meals at short intervals. Avoid carbonated drinks, coffee, alcohol and smoking.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
