Hello,
As per my clinical experience, the headache condition has to be evaluated in ileu of previous history of
high BP, headache if any. If there is previous history of high BP,
migraine or other disordres causing headache, then particular guidelines of:
- Blood pressure control
- Symptomatic therapy
If there was no previous history of headache before surgery, then strong suspicion of post spinal
anesthesia headache comes as the first diagnosis. This issue is critical and needs consultation with expert anesthesiologist to cure it.
The pain in legs and upper limbs with
tingling indicate usual concern with flare up of neuropathy and has to be entertained with
- Vigilant control of diabetes
- Regular walking
- Assisted physiotherapy
- Supportive medications of methylcobalamine, pregabaline, zinc, copper,
magnesium, multi vitamins
Avoidance of smoking and control of body weight are very major concern in this issue.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
