Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety

My father passed away last year and had several panic attacks. I tried a couple anti depressants but they didn t help. I went to counseling and felt somewhat better. Since then, I have not had any more panic attacks but I just don t feel right. Every so often I feel anxious, appear pale and dizzy. I don t like to travel as I did once as I feel anxious when driving and rather be at home. I do not feel like its depression. Today at work, I had these feelings and someone suggested it was diabetes. I ate a an early lunch including a few cookies and it did help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
You need to find out if there's a physical problem here.
It could be low thyroid, low cortisol levels, anemia, or, less likely, diabetes.
See your doctor for blood work that would include a thyroid function panel, a complete blood count, and a complete metabolic panel as well as AM and PM cortisol levels
I find this answer helpful
