Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety

Hi, so I was drinking a cup of tea at a frinds house and noticed swallowing something small and hard, I looked in the cup and noticed a crack in the cup about half way down with pieces chipped away, I stopped drinking and thought nothing of it, a few days on my bowels are really hurting, should I be worried? For the record I do suffer with anxiety, thank you for our time.

Hello,

The chips are small they can usually pass without much trouble. However, given that you are having pain, I recommend you go into an urgent care center where they can do an exam and get an x-ray.

X-rays are good for showing things that are radio-opaque, such as containing calcium but can sometimes show an area that looks different such as an area of soft tissue inflammation. So, I wouldn't worry too much about it but do think you should go in.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
