Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety

Hello. I am writing about my 24 yr old son, and he may have a mild social phobia condition. But my main concern, is his extreme anxiety of being around developmentally disabled adults. His chest becomes tight, and he can t breath right. He becomes shaky, and he just wants to run. It scares me so much. I can t think of what might cause such an experience. Is there a phobia related to this? Don t know if it is pertinent, but both myself, and his mother, have worked with the developmentally disables adults throughout his entire lifetime.
