Suggest Treatment For Severe Arthritis While On Topamax

I m having arthritis type pain in my hips, knees, and back unlike I have ever had. I am up to Topamax 150 mg per day poor the past 5 weeks. The pain has been severe for the past 2 weeks. I don t know if this is related at all to the medication. My migraines are almost non existent now. Is the arthritis a side effect of the medication?

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
