Suggest Treatment For Severe Back And Knee Pain

my husband had 2 fractures about 6 years ago ..L1 and T6. He was in body cast for 6 months, and has been ok. he played golf 2 Sundays ago. when he hit 1st ball, he fell to his knees in pain..continued on, and had back pain, but it has continued worsening. does not have dr appt. til Tuesday aft. he wants to take something like aleve or motrin for pain...but he has myasthenia gravis. and is on lower doses now of prednisone and imuran. Can he take something over the counter for pain?

Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
