Suggest Treatment For Severe Back And Leg Pain While On Tramadol
Please i am severe pains at my back, waist legs. I have taken tramadol butit is still paining. It has been for almost two yrs. Some said it is rhuematism. Others said it is nerves. At times i might not be able to walk for weeks.and if you touch or applied minimal force on my thigh, it is painful on the inside. Pls help
It may be a neurological pain, this is called neuralgia and it is due to abnormal functioning of the nerves (neuropathy.)
You may need assessment in terms of physical examination and imaging of the spinal cord (nerves to the waist, back and legs, come through here). It may be best to see a neurologist.
There are meds that are used for neuralgia such as Amitriptyline, Tegretol, Lyrica, etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
