Hi,

One of the main causes of constipation can be dehydration. Please hydrate yourself 2-3 liters of water until unless you are on fluid restriction. If you are having persistent pain better get an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out any causes like kidney stone or urinary tract infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suchita Yohan Halli, Emergency Medicine Specialist
