Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain While Having Hypothyroidism
Hi, I am Anu and working in it industry. I am suffering from hypothyroidism and I am taking medicine. I have tested last week and increased it to 50mcg from 25mcg. A two weeks before I felt some disturbances in my under stomach (left) for three days and also severe back pain for 1 day. Yesterday also I was suffering from a sudden severe stomach ache. Today I felt bleeding from Anus in toilet time, first time with the stool and secondly at the time of urination. Please advise me.
I think this situation is not related to Hypothyroidism. Possibly you should seek medical attention soon because of the bleeding you are having.
Possibly you may be having ulcers because of stomach pain you had. Normally the bleeding, in this case, is black stools melena. You may need to do a fybroscopy to check the place of bleeding.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
