Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi My daughter, who is 21, has been having back pain. Mainly in the kidney area, on the left side. She had a ultrasound performed and this is what her results show: FINDINGS: Bilateral extrarenal pelves versus mild pelviectasis, unchanged post void. The kidneys otherwise appear normal in size, contour, and echotexture. The right kidney measures approximately 11 x 5.2 x 4.3 cm. Left kidney measures approximately 11 x 5.4 x 6.3 cm. Prevoid appearance of the bladder is normal. A left jet is identified. A right jet could not be identified. There is a 4 cc post void residual This is Greek to me, so would love an explanation in plain terms. Thanks you! Hilda
For severe back pain take some pain killer like biozobid-plus or combiflam only when the pain is worse enough or disturb your daily routine along with calcium supplements like shalcal or toscal-gem once daily. I also advice you to sleep on plain surface. Do some kind physiotherapy exercises after an expert opinion of physiotherapist.
