General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Some bleeding after the injections for pregnancy prevention is normal but it should not last months.
In your case, because it is 6 months you are bleeding, you will need to have a gynecological examination and according to the findings, the doctor may decide to order a pap smear, cervical samples for chlamydia and gonorrhea and also a transvaginal ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
