Hello,

Feeling thirsty is due to diabetes. You are currently on Metformin, but should keep monitoring your blood sugar levels regularly, and record the results for future reference.

It is common for diabetics to have candida infection of GI tract. Wish such numbers of blood sugar, this extremely dry mouth is not explained. If I was your caring doctor, would advise running the culture of mouth swab to rule out candida thrush in order to start anti-fungal therapy.

Should increase water intake with oral rehydration salts. Take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
