Suggest Treatment For Severe Bronchitis
I have a severe case of bronchitis (2nd time this year and had it last year), am allergic to penicillin, have been on Z-Pack and steroids. Was getting better, but now have finished both and it is coming back. Is there an effective penicillin antibiotic out there that can help?

I can understand your concern.
Th most common cause for bronchitis is viral infection.
And amongst viruses Influenza virus is the most common.
You should avoid penicillin group of drugs because you are allergic to penicillin.
For prevention of recurrent bronchitis, it is better to take adult Pulmonary vaccines like pneumococcal and Influenza vaccines. These will prevent infection and hence episodes of bronchitis.
So need of recurrent antibiotics can also be avoided.
