Suggest Treatment For Severe Bruising And Swelling In The Leg
my husband injured his hamstring while at the gym a few weeks ago. there has been severe bruising some swelling and pain. as of today the back of his leg is swollen tightly pink in color has fever and itches. the bruising has moved downward. what does this sound like to you

Its actually the inflammatory fluid and the hematoma due to injury that has gone down the lines of the fascial compartments of the leg. It should go away with medical treatment otherwise surgical correction is needed known as Fasciotomy.
I suggest you to get a checkup from physician who will assess the severity and will decide if it is to be corrected medically, or surgery is necessary. Take a prescription for Augmentin per oral 1 gram 3 times a day for 10days. Tablet Ibuprofen 800 mg 3 times a day. Apply Voltaren gel 4 times a day. Wear pressure stockings.
