I am 39 years old and have been out on my roller boots exercising. I am 9 stone 5ft 5 non smoker. I experienced some chest pain which felt localised to my chest wall just left of my sternum. After I stopped the pain resolved. Never experienced this before. Pain did not radiate elsewhere.
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. You are having left sided chest pain during exercise (exertional chest pain). So we need to first rule out cardiac cause for this. So get done ecg and 2d echo. If both are normal then no need to worry for cardiac diseases. Sometimes musculoskeletal pain due to exercise can cause similar pain. So take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Avoid exercise for few days. Apply warm water pad on affected areas. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
