Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain

Hi! I have asthma and am having some issues tonight that I have not experienced before. I don t feel like I can take a deep breath and I am having a lot of chest pains. The pain is in the middle to rt side of my chest. Right now it is about a 8/10 on a pain scale. I have taken a nebulizer tx, along with antacids and a glass of baking soda and water. None of which made any difference. I also took 81mg of aspirin which didn t make the pain ease up. My BP is 165/105 (L) arm and 160/98 (R) arm. Pulse is 108. Can you please advise what I should do at this point? Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,

As per your history please follow my advise below:

1) Do full blood count with differential

2) Do a chest x-ray and Stress ECG

3) Take medications [two medications] for High BP and restrict salt in diet

4) Check your heart and lungs murmur by your local doctors

Take medications as per disease only ,if any doubt arises then follow me. I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
