Suggest Treatment For Severe Chronic Pain In Legs

I have been dealing with chronic pain for over 19 years due to spinal damage. The last maybe 3 years I have been having serious breakthrough pain mostly in legs. I am taking 20 mg of methadone twice daily and it helps the chronic but not the breakthrough pain. My doctor tried Tylenol 3 a couple years ago but it didn t help so he didn t prescribe anything else. I am miserable about 80 - 85% of the time.

Hi,

ACT and CBT are available (psychologist). Other options are Ibuprofen or Diclofenac (same). You need RFT levels and ECG monitoring. Tylenol is good and almost no side effects are available. If you are that miserable then you can request for opioids too. The only thing is they have addiction potential!

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
