Suggest Treatment For Severe Colon Pain

I went to my gastro Dr. 3 days ago with severe pain in the sigmoid colon he ordered blood work and gave me cipro&flagl today my pain was worse and my blood work came back normal I just called him he s on call he ordered a medication for me to take now

Hi.

So he is suspecting an infection probably. Possible, yet if you can point out where exactly you have pain then it is best we go ahead with a colonoscopy just to make sure the diagnosis is accurate and not a blind or assumed one.
