Suggest Treatment For Severe Constipation

Hello doctor , Need urgent attention here.. I had not passed stool for four days.. yesterday I could experience lot of rectum hole muscle pain as the stool has got very hard.. it s too hard to come out through rectum ..tried suppoatory.. but not luck.. then I had creamafin .. stool started to pass out hard with lot of water and blood.. only a pea size comes out ..and it a so hard and it really pains like hell.. I don t know what to do.. never has such a thing happened before for me.. pls advise..should I go for enema..

Hi,

Since your stools are hard and impacted due to not passing it for four days, laxatives may not be sufficient. Yes, I would suggest you to visit your physician and do an enema. The cause of constipation which could be piles, fissures or dietary causes which should be identified and treated. Maintain healthy fibre diet in the following days to avoid constipation.
