Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough After Inhaling Smoke

Hi. We visited friends last night and they had a campfire lit in the garden. It was very windy and was hard to stay upwind of the smoke caused by the fire. My 14 week old baby was with us...he was not placed close to the fire buto it was very difficult to keep him upwind and eventually moved him indoors. However, this morning he woke with a cough and I am worried he inhaled some of the smoke. What should I do? Visit the GPS? Have I caused harm to my baby!!!

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that you can give him steam inhalation twice a day and he will be fine.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
