Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Difficulty In Breathing

How do i know if i have asthma? I have been prescribed an inhaler for the last 4 years or so, and it helps when I am sick. When I cough, I feel like I can t breathe. But the doctor never said I had asthma. Just wondering. I am very sick again and wondering if it s turning into bronchitis again, and if asthma makes me more succeptible to that?

Thank you very much for contacting healthcare magic.

I understand your problem..

Right now you have problem of severe cough that may be because of respiratory infection or other problems.

You are taking inhaler for asthma that is prevente a attack of asthma.

Chest X ray can done for further diagnosis.
After Sputum culture test if infection is present than start proper antibiotics under doctor's suggestion.

Consent a pulmonologist for further diagnosis.
You are not mention a cough color and consistency.....that one help in diagnosis.

Proper auscaltation give idea about respiratory problems.
