Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Fever

I have had a viral infection for about 3 weeks now, the cough started as a dry tickling cough. Now it is a cough coming for my chest, I can hear the mucus rattling but I can t move it. Sometimes I got coughing so hard I almost vomit. But I can t seem to move any mucus. Plus now I have been running a low grade fever at night.
