Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough During Pregnancy

I have had a bad cough for a couple of weeks but when I was on the loo having a pee I coughed hard twice and caused me to stop and start peeing but caused pain. I bleed a little and it hurt/stung every time I did a pee for a couple of days. The pain/stinging eased of but it happened again today but without the bleeding and back to pain and stinging when having a pee. Have to mention tht I am also 33 weeks pregnancy and always f eel like I need to pee.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion if the cough is productive and associated with fever then you might need a course of antiboitics.Otherwise the cough syrups suggested by your doctor might give you relief.Avoid eating chilled items. Some incontinence during strain might be there due to
alteration in the structure of urinary tract. So it might be normal. But i suggest you to get a urine examination done to rule out any urine infection.
