Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough While Having COPD

Hi, I have copd due to alveoli not working, and fluid gets in them and bacteria lives in the fluid. I have been taking antibiotics for six months, I will be well, but still a nagging cough, after I finish a regimen, then I will get sick again in two or three weeks. Will oregano oil help me? What are the doses for it, what are the harmful side effects. Thanks for taking my question.
