Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough With Green Mucus Discharge And Hoarse Voice

Hi, I lost my voice for about four days. The first few days I was coughing up green mucus. That has mostly stopped but especially the last few days my chest has been tight to breath. It feel like in have water in my chest. Especially when exhauling. I have had a dry cough. The last few nightand needed to cough (dry) for a long period.

Hi,

Dry cough, loss of voice and feeling of tightness to breathe may be features of allergic cough. But green mucus is sign of some infection. In my opinion you need a course of antibiotics along with some antiallergic for an extended period. If you get breathing difficulty, then a course of broncho-dilator may also be needed.
