Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough

I have had a horrible cough since January.... Been on several rounds of antibiotics goes away comes back it has dropped my oxygen levels where I need to do breathing treatments ... When i cough I am bringing up phelmn it is stringy and sometimes chunky .... I was diagnosed with bronchial asthma ... Never had asthma in my life ... It is back and still have cough what can I take to get rid of this ?

Thanks for your question on HCM. Asthma can occur at any age, and I want toand ask you few questions.
1. Have you visited pulmonologist.
2. Have you undergone Pulmonary Function Test(PFT)
I am asking these things because diagnosis of asthma is based on PFT only, and not on clinical basis. As asthma treatment is very specific.
1. Allergen identification and complete avoidance.
2. Inhaled medicines in meter dose inhaler.
3. Regular PFT and pulmonologist follow up.
Asthma is very well managed with above treatment. So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss these things.
