Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough

Hello. I am 58 and am on the last 2 days of taking predisone for productive cough. I am now coughing continuously with a dry cough, which makes me urinate every time I cough. I get spasms of coughing and urination for the last two days. I had pain right below my ribs on both sides last night. I am also diabetic. I am concerned about the excessive coughing and the amount of urine I keep losing when coughing. Should I go to the emergency room?
