Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea After Discontinuing Imodium
I have IBS-D, controlled by immodium. I stopped that drug two days before a colonoscopy. The diarrhea started up again. I have taken the first drug prep for the colonoscopy, which is tomorrow. I don t think the next prep drug will do anything more for me. Is it essential that I take that drug, and all that water, tomorrow before the test?

Hi, if you are already having too many motions, you may not need the second prep drug before colonoscopy. But I think you should drink the water. However I would still advise you to check with the doctor or nurse where your colonoscopy is going to be performed, since it is his jurisdiction. Regards
