Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea And Nausea While On Metformin

My daughter has had severe diarrhoea 5 days now . As soon as she eats anything she needs to run to the toilet. She said as soon as she eats something she can feel her stomach gurgling and she has to find a toilet quickly. She has been taking Metformin for a couple of months now for hormonal issues and the drug will make her nauseous at times .

I have read your query and understand your concern . As far as severe diarrhea and nausea is concerned this can be due to effect of medicine also . For thia I will suggest you to consult physician for examination and Investigations like Complete heamogram and RBS . In meantime I will suggest her to take medicine like Norfloxacin TZ and Metronidazole by consulting with local doctor . Also give her Electrol .
