I have had severe diarhia since 8am every 15 to 30 min. No headache no fever.. At 5 pm I threw up. Still no headache. I threw up after drinking gator aid.. The only food I have had that my family has not had were grapes last night. Also I had heartburn last night along with pain in the upper center of my back..

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it seems like acute upper gastrointestinal tract infection and may need antibiotics like ciprofloxacin or metronidazole and good hydration with oral rehydration salts as well as antiemetics like metoclopramide. Keep taking soft diets meanwhile.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
