You have experienced the symptoms of
vertigo. It commonly occurs due to “vestibular disorder” generally refers to a disorder affecting the
inner ear that leads to
dizziness, vertigo, and balance problems. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT. You will be asked to get hearing tests and balance tests, including head movement testing, eye movement testing,
posturography and rotating chair testing done.
The treating doctor may tell you to get done CT/MRI if required. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. You are instructed to avoid driving or doing any heavy work. You will be treated with medications like Vertin-6, water pills, etc. You will be recommended balance therapy,
psychotherapy, head position maneuvers, etc.
