Suggest Treatment For Severe Dizziness, Vomiting And Breathlessness

Hi. On Friday I was camping when my dog became extremely lethargic and vomited a few times. The next morning, after tossing and turning all night, I felt extremely hung over. I had fainting spells all day Saturday, which started by me not being able to breathe, then losing feelings to all of my limbs and my torso and intense paralysis of them. It is Sunday night and I am still vomiting and dry heaving. I cannot keep anything down. I am sipping of ginger ale and that s about all I can handle. Do I need to go to the doctor? It s been about 48 hours of symptoms now.

Hello,

You will need to be seen by the doctor especially because of the paralysis that you are experiencing in your limbs and also because you are not able to keep any fluids in. You may need to have a good examination to determine the reason for the paralysis and also you may need intravenous fluids to prevent dehydration.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
