Suggest Treatment For Severe Dizziness When Diagnosed With Inner Ear Infection

I went to my family Dr and was diagnosed with a inner ear infection. was giving antibiotics and sent home. My dizziness has gotten worse so my DR sent me to ER last night. I was sent home again with more antibiotics and a nose spray. I m still dizzy to the point where I cant get out of bed and the dizzy spells are happening while I m laying down now also. Before they were just happening while I got up and moved around. The spells have gotten worse not better while I am on the two antibiotics. My question is could my dizzieness be caused by something else besides the ear infection and should I go back to my family DR for more tests or just wait till I m completely finished with both antibiotics?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to Meniere disease.

I recommend using Meclizine Hydrochloride to treat the symptoms.

I also recommend to avoid using salt in the diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
