Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Infection And Dizziness

I have felt dizzy since May 31st. Thought it was an ear infection. I saw my Dr who referred me to an ENT. He sent me to an audiologist. My hearing is fine. When they blew cold air in my right ear my arm an the right side went numb at the audiologist. The ENT then referred me to a Neurologist. I had an EEG a ELG an MRI all normal. I still have no answers and I am still dizzy. The Neurologist thinks that it could be a migraine so I am now taking a baby asprin and a small dose of a migraine medication. Just wondering if there is something else that needs to be looked at?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to migraine. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication to relieve the pain such as Ibuprofen three times a day.

If the symptoms continue to consult a neurologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
