Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Infection

Hi, I suffer from ear infections a lot, this is 4th one in the last couple of months and I've had my ears syringed once. I have got an ear infection again, with bright green fluid coming out and extreme pain around my ear, inside and my jaw bone and left side of my face, what do you think is causing this re occurring issue?

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptpms of severe ear infectionn which seems to be due to fungal infection, wax build up, fluid accumulation, and systemic disease infection.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses to external ear . You should keep your ear dry until it gets alright. You should cover your ear while bathing I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may examine by otoscopic means to check level of infection. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin at least for a week along with decongestants. Put Otogesic ear drops. You should go for audiometer testing as well to check hearing level.
