Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain
I have this pain directly behind my right ear. excruciating pain like I have not anything to compare too. right at the base of the ear. there is a bump at the base of my skull. it appears to be directly behind this point. comes once a month or less. recently within 2 days. What could cause this?

From history it seems that you might be having acute otitis media i.e. infection in middle ear producing severe ear ache with enlarged post auricular lymph nodes.
You might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine for 5 days.
