Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe ear pain which is because of infection of upper respiratory track infection that has spread to ear through Eustachian tube. It could be due to trigeminal neuralgia, ear wax accumulation and fungal infection in ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. You should go for otoscopic examination. If it is due to trigeminal neuralgia then you should take medicines like Gabapentin, amytriptyline. Take antibiotic along with anti-inflammatory medication. Apply warm compresses on ear. Put ciplox or gatiflox ear drops. avoid touching or pricking it with sharp object.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
